Wow-hard to remember everything that has happened since 1979!

After my mom died I worked for my dad in Greensboro until I moved to Richmond VA and became an office equipment salesperson. We introduced some of the first fax machines! (It's hard to imagine now that people couldn't understand why they would even need a fax machine.)

My husband Joe and I married in 1989 while he was still an active duty Air Force pilot, and we moved to California where I worked for Sharp Electronics as a government account rep covering 5 states. Joe flew U2s and traveled a lot, so it was fun for me to see that side of the country.

We were transferred to Navarre Beach, FL in 1994 just a month before our son Kevin arrived, and Carol followed in 1997. I had a wonderful 10 years as a stay-at-home mom! I learned a lot about advocating for people with special needs in order to help our son navigate through the maze of an Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis. Kevin is going into high school this year and has had his own movie review column in our local paper since he was 10 years old! You can see his blog at moviegeek411.blogspot.com.

Joe left active duty and became a reservist, then we moved to GA just in time for him to be deployed for 2 years after 9/11. He's back home now of course and serving at Dobbins ARB in Atlanta when he's not working for Delta, or working with me for Club Z.

Eventually when we were ready to start a home-based business we fell in love with the Club Z! In-Home tutoring model, and we've owned the location for Fayette County GA ever since. Our tutors work with kids in their homes, and I get to work out of MY home-which works great for us!

I have had an amazing life; I'm truly blessed and it just keeps getting better and better.

School Story:

I probably could have used a tutor in high school!

I'm never going to tell my kids about the time I skipped class and sat in someone's car.. When it was time for the next period I couldn't figure out how to get the keys out of the ignition so spent the next hour in a panic. The safety feature on that ignition must have been totally different then that of my family's bright yellow PACER!

Attending Reunion:

I'll have to see if I can find any old pictures from High School! Not sure if that will be a good idea though LOL.

Most recent Air Force party-2008. I'll miss those fancy balls when Joe finally retires from the reserves.

Great vacation in Mexico in 2008! Our kids Kevin and Carol had fun-we couldn't use our cell phones or the internet!

I have the most AWESOME kids!

It was GREAT living at the beach.
