October 9-11, 2009
Plans are starting to emerge for the upcoming Page High School Class of '79 30th Reunion! Please make a note of some of the TENTATIVE activities planned for the weekend:
- Friday, October 9th is the annual Page/Grimsley Golf Tournament that is a fundraiser for both schools. For more information, check out www.pagegrimsleygolf.com. They don't have any info yet on the 2009 tournament, but you can get a feel for the tournament from the info on the 2008 tournament.
- Friday, October 9th at night is the ultimate rivalry in high school football - the Page/Grimsley game. This will be a great time to reconnect with classmates and root on the Pirates to victory! Following the game, everyone (Pirates and Whirlies) will convene at The Blind Tiger where we will listen to the fine music of Other Mothers - a rock band that includes our very own Dan Cowett, Randal McCorquodale and Stephen King.
- Saturday, October 10th at night will be our big shindig at the Elks Club at 7:00pm! Amy Wheeler and Amy Chamblee are working hard in getting all the details worked out. We'll have a DJ playing those wild rock and roll songs that we all loved and a dance floor to "shake our booties" to the beat. Great food, great people, great fun!
- Sunday, October 11th - it's open at this time; there has beens some talk of a family picnic somewhere. We'll see what transpires.
